Hello Friends,

I have been working on The Project off and on for nearly a decade. It is only recently that I have become serious about publishing this and other books. I hope you enjoy The Project as much as I enjoyed writing it. A special shout out to the many wonderful people in my life who encouraged me to keep writing, and those who persuaded me to share what I have written with the rest of the world.

The question has been asked, "why do you write?"

Good question.

I write because I have stories to tell. I write because I am a hopeless romantic. I write because of the countless hours of enjoyment and mind expansion other writers have bequeathed me, and I would like, in some small part, to add to the critical conversations of life.

I write because the wonder of an idea finding fruition in a book is much like building a house. It starts from the germ of a thought in someone's mind. It proceeds from blueprints to taking raw, undeveloped ground and commence building. In time, the world is left to view the completed structure. Some will like it, some will not. Some will even vie for the opportunity to purchase the house, move in, and call it home!

I sincerely hope, wherever you are, you have a joyous day. Happy reading.
